Blue Velvet

Sofas leave me agog (total word of the day usage. Eh, eh)

It’s funny how things work in a way you hadn’t imagined. Cue in this picture:

That little rich, blue box stores some tea light candles and The Husband left it out one night when he was trying to get zexy with the lighting.

I knew I wanted to incorporate one more color into our already colorful living room, and since I already have these bowls

on display, the blue box was the perfect accident. Now let’s turn this into something BIG. A blue velvet sofa is begging to replace our worn out, retro, pale green, too small to sit comfortably sofa, and I’m more than willing to oblige (not word of the day).

Why yes, I would love to sit, drool and nap on you.

I would make love on to this beauty as soon as the delivery people left.

I’m not a girl, not yet a sofa.

Fine by me.

Have a Happy Wednesday,

Irene Lovett
